GHOST DANCE was one of nearly four dozen Northern California and Nevada bands featured on the Faulty Products distributed Alternative Tentacles LP, NOT SO QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT. The line-up of the Berkeley-based band was: "Bruce" on drums, "Ben" on bass, "Eric" on guitar and "Steve" on vocals.
Their name was derived from a native-american, shaman-based religious ritual. After NOT SO QUIET's release, not much else was heard from Ghost Dance, though there is a band out of Minneapolis with the same name...
