wow... I love this hand.
Corey Zeidman is a charming and intelligent guy. First he makes a very questionable call on the turn, then he sucks out on his opponent on the river, slowrolls her and then asks for applause...
Slow-rolling means taking your time to call when there's no more action left and slowly revealing your nuts or winning hand after calling reluctantly. In this case, Jennifer Harman put Zeidman all-in. Zeidman only had two options. Call or fold. There's no reason for him to take his time since he has the best hand and there's no more action after him. When he has absolute nuts, he's pretending like he might be beat and doesn't call instantly
He did kind of imply he had 8 9 when he said he thinks she as AK on the turn. And the considering that he stayed in the hand she probably thought he may well have a flush draw as well, giving him an incentive to see the river even when he though she had him beat with her apparent AK. She wasnt actually saying that she was 100% certain, but I guess she just had a worry.
It wasnt a slowroll..he said later that he thought he was raising all in...he didnt know that her bet put him all in..so he thought he was raising all in..therefore not a slowroll.
